Pillsbury Just Released 5 New Funfetti Baking Mixes — Including a Unicorn One

Happy Birthday, Funfetti!

What is it about a Funfetti cake that brings a smile to your face and adds a spring to your step? It’s almost impossible to resist those bright pops of color. Indeed, Funfetti cakes have been the centerpiece of many birthday parties and celebrations.

But now it’s time to celebrate Funfetti. In honor of the sprinkled baking mix’s 30th birthday, Pillsbury just released a collection of new and exciting products.

There’s the Funfetti Unicorn and Funfetti Galaxy, which are the first two non-seasonal cake mixes the brand has offered within the last three decades. Imagine pink strawberry Funfetti cupcakes or blue galaxy cupcakes where you get lost in a universe of fun — these would be great for gender reveal parties, huh?

Of course, you can go with the seasonal Halloween mixes for October, like the Funfetti Halloween Cookie Mix and the Funfetti Halloween Cake Mix.

For everyday (or at least every weekend) treats, try the Funfetti Pancake and Waffle Mix. (Waking up to funfetti pancakes? That’s a good morning!) It is sold at a few retailers currently, like Hy-Vee, Albertson’s, Safeway, Schnuck’s, SpartanNash, K-Va-T, Ahold, Giant, Jewel, Brookshire’s and Cub Foods. Your neighborhood store not listed? Don’t worry. Pillsbury plans to offer the mix in more places in the near future.

With these new Funfetti mixes, you can whip up amazing birthday cakes for all your friends or co-workers, or just make a cake to keep around the house for easy desserts.
